Providers
Dr. Girish Trikha brings over 20 years of experience in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He previously served as Chief of the Pulmonary and Sleep Clinic at CNY Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine and held clinical leadership roles at St. Joseph’s Hospital and SUNY Upstate Medical University. Board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care, and sleep medicine, Dr. Trikha is dedicated to providing advanced, compassionate care for patients with complex respiratory and sleep disorders.
Dr. Rohini Singh Chatterjee is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician with extensive clinical, academic, and military experience. She joins Oswego Health following her leadership roles in the U.S. Air Force, where she served as Chief of Pulmonary at Wright Patterson Medical Center and Medical Director for Critical Care Air Transport in CENTCOM. A Harvard-trained physician, Dr. Chatterjee brings expertise in pulmonary diseases, ICU medicine, and complex critical care, with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
James F. Sexton, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician with more than 30 years of experience caring for patients with complex respiratory and critical care needs. He previously served as an Associate Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he led the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program for over 20 years and served as Medical Director of the Community General Hospital ICU.
Dr. Sexton played a key leadership role during the COVID‑19 pandemic as Chair of the Critical Care Task Force, coordinating operations across nine ICUs. His background also includes extensive work in sepsis management, pulmonary hypertension care, and ventilator‑associated pneumonia prevention.
He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at University Hospitals and MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland and earned a Master’s in Health Services Research from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Sexton is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine.
