Thank you for your interest in making a gift to the Oswego Health Foundation. The Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) organization and an integral partner in Oswego Health's mission to provide accessible, quality care and improve the health of the residents in our community. We are grateful for the contributions received, both large and small, in support of our mission. Over the years, philanthropic support has transformed the original 6-bed hospital into a complete healthcare system with 17 locations throughout Oswego County.
There are a variety of ways you and/or your organization may choose to make a meaningful gift to Oswego Health.

Memorial and tribute gifts
You can make a gift in memory of someone who has passed or in honor of a living loved one. Memorial gifts are acknowledged to the family as well as to the donor. Tribute gifts are a great way to honor a special occasion.
Bequests and planned gifts
Gift planning is a way for you to create a lasting legacy and support the mission of the Oswego Health Foundation. Whether you would like to put your donation to work today or benefit us after your lifetime, we can find a charitable plan that works for you. Simply call the Oswego Health Foundation at 315.326.3519 for more information or see your legal and financial advisers for guidance.
Charitable trusts
Charitable trusts are another option for donors who wish to make a current or deferred gift to Oswego Health but are concerned about retaining an income from the asset. Charitable trusts can provide donors with regular cash payments, current charitable income tax deduction, avoidance or reduction of estate taxes, and elimination of money-management concerns.
Giving through such arrangements can be a meaningful way to blend your philanthropic goals with your personal financial and tax-planning needs. Charitable trusts are set up through an outside adviser such as through a trust department of a bank. Please let us know if the Oswego Health Foundation is a beneficiary of a trust agreement so we may thank you and recognize your gift appropriately.
Stocks/securities
Gifts of appreciated securities may offer you significant tax savings. For information on how to transfer securities to the Oswego Health Foundation, please call us at 315.326.3519.
