Our new therapy group sessions offer a supportive environment where individuals can come together, share their experiences, and gain the tools they need to improve their mental health. Whether you’re navigating grief, parenting, emotional regulation, or seeking a space for open processing, our groups are designed to offer validation, connection, and personal growth. Join us to build your resilience, learn new coping strategies, and connect with others who understand your struggles.

Our New Group Therapy Offerings:

Grief Group

Losing a loved one can leave you feeling overwhelmed and isolated. Our Grief Group offers a safe space for individuals at any stage of their grief journey to share their experiences, receive support, and develop healthy coping strategies. This group focuses on validating your feelings, providing connection, and offering hope. Members are encouraged to share their stories, engage in respectful discussions, and complete activities that help ease the grieving process. This group is open to anyone anytime—whether you’ve just experienced a loss or are still navigating grief from the past.

Parenting Skills Group

Being a parent can be one of life's most rewarding yet challenging roles. Our Parenting Skills Group offers an 8-week, evidence-based curriculum to help parents and caregivers of children ages birth-18 years build stronger family connections and manage common parenting challenges. Topics include child development, effective discipline, active listening skills, and self-care for parents. This group also helps reinforce parenting capabilities by focusing on problem-solving and resilience. Plus, it meets Oswego County DSS/CPS parenting training requirements, making it an ideal choice for those involved in CPS. Sessions are held on Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Every 8 weeks, a new session begins, so contact us today to learn when the next session starts.

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Group

Our DBT Group is perfect for those seeking to improve their emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and communication skills. The group focuses on four key modules: Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Relationships. Over 15 weeks, participants will learn valuable tools to navigate everyday life, strengthen relationships, set healthy boundaries, and manage stress effectively. This group encourages accountability with an attendance policy that limits missed sessions. The group meets once a week, with new sessions starting every 15 weeks.

Processing Group

The Processing Group is designed for individuals looking to openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe and supportive environment. Unlike other therapy groups, this group does not follow a set teaching format. Instead, it encourages members to share freely and connect with others at varying stages of treatment and recovery. By providing social support, improving communication skills, and offering recovery-focused coping strategies, this group helps reduce isolation and stigma. The group is open to anyone at any time and meets every Tuesday at 8:45 a.m.
