Oswego Health Welcomes Jesse Rothberg, PMHNP-BC, LMSW, MA to the Lobdell Center for Mental Health & Wellness at Lakeview

Oswego Health is proud to welcome Board-Certified Jesse Rothberg, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Licensed Master Social Worker, to the Lobdell Center for Mental Health & Wellness at Lakeview. This appointment underscores Oswego Health’s continued commitment to expanding and investing in mental health services for the residents of Central New York.
Rothberg brings five years of experience providing high-quality mental health care. She holds a Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester, an MSW in Social Work from Fordham University, an MA in Psychology from Montclair State University, and undergraduate degrees in English and liberal arts.
Before joining Oswego Health, Rothberg served as a Psychotherapist at Lexington Psychotherapy PLLC, providing telehealth psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, and couples. She has expertise in evidence-based practices, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Positive Psychology techniques, specializing in anxiety, trauma, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and relationship challenges. Previously, she served as a Therapist Associate at Cerebral and a Crisis Counselor at Vibrant Emotional Health, supporting clients through risk assessments, safety planning, and therapeutic interventions.

The Lobdell Center for Mental Health & Wellness at Lakeview, a 42,000-square-foot facility, has transformed the local landscape for mental healthcare. The center provides comprehensive psychiatric services to those age 18 years of age and older, including inpatient and outpatient services.
Oswego Health’s mental health and wellness team includes more than 100 highly trained professionals, certified by the New York State Office of Mental Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. Services are covered by Medicaid, Medicare, and most insurance plans. Each team member is committed to helping clients work toward their mental health goals professionally, confidentially, and compassionately.
