Oswego Health Offers Comprehensive Multi-Organ Blood Analysis to Support Community Health Throughout May
Oswego Health is pleased to offer its annual Multi-Organ Blood Analysis event throughout May, providing essential health screenings at select Oswego Health Lab Draw stations. This proactive health service is part of Oswego Health’s commitment to empowering our community with the tools needed for early detection and prevention of potential health issues.
For only $65, participants can access a comprehensive panel of tests that can typically cost over $760 if done individually. This affordable analysis includes screenings for conditions such as anemia, diabetes, and key health concerns related to coronary, kidney, and liver diseases. The screening also covers critical markers like LDL and HDL cholesterol and triglycerides, which are vital for heart health.
In addition, two optional tests are available to support personalized care further:
- Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test: Offered for an additional $25, recommended for men over 50 to help detect early signs of prostate health issues.
- Vitamin D test: Available for $30 to assess vitamin D levels, crucial for bone health and immune function.
The Multi-Organ Blood Analysis is designed to help identify potential health problems early so individuals can take preventive measures to improve their well-being. The analysis results will be sent directly from the Oswego Hospital Lab to each participant’s physician for further review, followed by an easy-to-read summary sent to the participant.
Special Offer for Oswego Health Employees and Retirees: In recognition of their dedicated service, the Multi-Organ Blood Analysis will be free of charge for all Oswego Health employees and retired employees.
How to Participate: Community members are encouraged to schedule an appointment online at www.oswegohealth.org/bloodanalysis. For questions or assistance, please call 315-532-5813 during weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
