Celebrating Our New Radiologic Technologists: Luke Kinsey and Ian Depuy
We’re thrilled to officially welcome Luke Kinsey and Ian Depuy as Radiologic Technologists at Oswego Health! Both have worked tirelessly and studied even harder, and we’re proud to have supported them through our tuition assistance program, helping them achieve their career goals.
Luke Kinsey’s Journey
Luke began his journey with Oswego Health in 2023 as a New Vision student from Mexico High School, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare through shadowing and practical training. Inspired by the experience, he returned as a part-time Tech Assistant while pursuing his degree.
He recently graduated from Mohawk Valley Community College’s competitive Radiologic Technology program, which accepts only 20 students per year. Now working the evening shift as an X-ray Technologist, Luke is just getting started.
Healthcare runs in his family — his mother works in Radiology at St. Joseph’s Hospital — but Luke is forging his own path, planning additional chemistry coursework to apply to Nuclear Medicine school. Outside work, he enjoys hiking, camping, and beach adventures.
Ian Depuy’s Journey
Ian started with Oswego Health four years ago as a weekend Tech Assistant at Fulton Medical Center. A native of Malone, NY, Ian found Oswego Health felt like home after returning post-college.
Encouraged by colleagues, Ian enrolled at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he graduated top of his class and is completing a dual track in X-ray and CT this August. He credits Oswego Health’s supportive, family-like environment for helping him balance school, work, and life.
In his free time, Ian plans to enjoy hiking and playing his saxophone. He’s also open to future roles in leadership or radiology PA work, but for now, he’s excited to focus on his role as a Radiologic Technologist.
Ian’s advice to others considering career advancement:
“Go for it. It’s a leap of faith, but if you have the drive, it’s absolutely worth it.”
Supporting Career Growth at Oswego Health
Luke and Ian’s stories highlight how Oswego Health invests in its team members, fostering growth for both employees and the patients they serve.
