Tuition Assistance Program

We provide educational assistance for our full-time and part-time employees. Full-time employees will receive 100% tuition assistance, not to exceed $3,000 per year. Part-time employees will receive 40% tuition assistance, not to exceed $3,000 per year.

Oswego Health has recently deployed a career pathway program specific to the field of nursing and medical imaging, to provide their employees with a series of connected education and training programs, financial assistance, and support services, to advance over time to successively higher levels of education and employment within healthcare; all while offering a flexible work schedule. Active employees, those employed for 30 days or more, either full-time, part-time, or per-diem, interested in pursuing a Registered Nurse or Medical Imaging program will be eligible to apply for the Tuition Assistance Bridge Program to help offset costs associated with pre-requisites.

Degree Type and Tuition:

• Licensed Practical Nurse - $10,000

Requirements:

• 1,200 hours to complete degree
• Not to exceed $10,000 per year in payout annually
• 2 years employment requirement at the completion of degree

Degree Type and Tuition:

• Advanced Degree in Nursing (ADN) - $20,000
• Registered Nurse to Bachelors of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) - $30,000
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing to Master of Science in Nursing (BSN to MSN) - $30,000

• 3 years to complete degree
• Not to exceed $10,000 per year in payout annually
• 2 years employment requirement at the completion of degree

• BS Degree Medical Technology - $20,000
• Associates Medical Technology - $20,000

• 2 years to complete degree
• Not to exceed $10,000 per year in payout annually
• 2 years employment requirement at the completion of degree

• Associates Medical Technology - $20,000

The Manor at Seneca Hill is offering PAID five-week Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) classes.

As part of the program, you will not only receive your certification for free but you will be hired as a unit helper throughout your training. While other CNA programs typically cost on average $2,000 to complete, The Manor is not only providing this training, but will help advance your career and provide a hands-on experience!

Even better, upon completion of the certification course and successful passing of the certification test, you can immediately begin working as a CNA at The Manor and receive a $3,500 sign-on bonus!

• Employed by Oswego Health
• Agrees to transition into a full-time Medical Assistant role at the end of the course
• Coursework is done outside of working hours, the clinical component will be completed during paid in-office hours.
