Jamie Leszczynski is a seasoned communications professional with over twenty years of experience leading marketing and communication strategies across the United States and internationally. She joined Oswego Health in 2019 as Senior Director of Communications and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Communication & Chief Brand Officer in January 2023. In her role, Jamie is a dedicated storyteller, overseeing Oswego Health’s brand reputation and playing a crucial part in shaping the public perception of the nonprofit healthcare system and its 18 campuses. Her expertise extends to developing marketing strategies that target both domestic and international consumers, ensuring broad, impactful engagement across multiple regions and driving global brand awareness.

Jamie’s expertise extends to navigating the complex and ever-evolving landscape of brand reputation management. She is responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies that build trust and credibility, enhance employee engagement for Oswego Health’s 1,400+ employees, and promote clinical services to strengthen the organization’s presence. Her leadership spans beyond strategy development to include hands-on execution, ensuring the patient experience remains consistent across all campuses. Jamie is committed to rolling up her sleeves and working alongside her team to address the challenges of maintaining a strong and cohesive brand reputation in the dynamic healthcare sector.

As the public information officer for Oswego Health, Jamie manages all public relations activities, positioning the organization as a leader in patient care. She also directs a skilled communications team and facilities crew, working together to elevate the patient experience and maintain brand integrity at every touchpoint.

A dedicated community advocate, Jamie has chaired the SAVE Central NY Charter (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) for over a decade, helping raise awareness about mental health. Additionally, she serves on the Farnham Foundation and Integrated Community Planning boards of Oswego County, further cementing her deep-rooted commitment to the region.

Jamie graduated from Oswego State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. At 25, she received Leadership Oswego County's 40 Under 40 award and was honored again at 32 by BizEventz for their 40 Under 40 in Onondaga County. In 2023 and again in 2024, Jamie was named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s prestigious list of "Hospital and Health System Chief Marketing Officers to Know."

Jamie is an accomplished leader, a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse, Class of 2014, and has completed the Stanford Healthcare Leadership program and the HANYS Academy for Healthcare Leadership Advancement at Cornell University.
