Hospice provides support services to residents at the Manor at Seneca Hill and their families. Hospice collaborates with the nursing home staff to provide quality palliative care services. Hospice services also include health aides, volunteers, and pastoral support that can assist with end-of-life care.

Oswego Hospital Serenity Room
While saying final goodbyes to a loved one are never easy, Oswego Hospital has created a peaceful serenity room where those last farewells can be expressed privately and with dignity.
The private room features homelike furnishings along with a private bed for the patient. Family members are welcome 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Food and beverages can be arranged so that the family can remain close to their loved one.

Do you know the difference between hospice care and palliative care? There's some overlap in the kind of care they provide, so it's easy to confuse the terms. Take this quiz to improve your knowledge about how these valuable services can improve quality of life for people with serious illness.
