Oswego Health Audiology is now a one-stop location for all your hearing needs by offering comprehensive hearing evaluations and amplification services for all ages. Our Board-Certified, Licensed Audiologist is now fitting the latest in digital hearing aid technology and accessories, including devices that stream phone conversation and television to hearing aids. There are many attractive styles and sizes available.
Hearing Services
- Specialized hearing tests using an Audiostar audiometer in a sound booth that offers patient comfort and consistent results for all ages.
- Auditory brain stem response (ABR) equipment is used to give information about the inner ear (cochlea) and the brain's pathway for hearing.
Balance Testing
- To test balance, videonystagmography (VNG) technology records eye movements during a series of actions, which assists in diagnosing inner ear conditions and central motor functions. This test distinguishes whether a patient's dizziness is due to the inner ear or brain versus medical disorders such as low blood pressure or anxiety.
