The Manor and Springside celebrated their 20th anniversary at the Seneca Hill Health Campus on September 12, 2019.
Part of Oswego Health’s growth into a successful health system included recognizing the importance of expanding local senior services. On February 25, 1999, The Manor at Seneca Hill opened to provide 24-hour skilled nursing, rehabilitation services, and an Adult Day Health Services Program. The following year on April 3, 2000 Springside at Seneca Hill opened, allowing seniors to enjoy a carefree easy lifestyle in a premier retirement community.
The Seneca Hill project’s vision was to provide a ‘continuum of care’ for seniors with everything from independent living to skilled nursing. This was a new concept in late 1990’s and something Oswego County had not seen before. The Seneca Hill campus represents a realization of the vision the hospital trustees and administration had for Oswego Health.
Over fifty guests were in attendance to join in the celebration including residents and friends of The Manor and Springside, as well as senior management, current and former board members of Oswego Health.
Remarks were presented by Michael Harlovic, President and CEO for Oswego Health; Jeff Coakley, COO for Oswego Health and Oswego Health Executive VP; Jason Santiago, VP and COO for the Manor and Springside at Seneca Hill.
