Oswego Health urologists to provide Ask the doctor Program

Oswego Health’s husband and wife urologist team, Gary and Elizabeth W. Bozeman, will present a free Ask The Doctor Program on Tuesday, September 26 at GS Steamers in Oswego.

Elizabeth Bozeman, MD, who is well-known locally for successfully treating community members with incontinence issues, will discuss the various treatment options she provides and their benefits. Meanwhile, Gary Bozeman, MD, will talk about the therapies and procedures available for prostate issues, including the new minimally invasive prostatic urethral lift procedure, also known as UroLift.

Drs. Bozeman are both board-certified knowledgeable urologists who have been providing surgical procedures at Oswego Hospital and seeing patients in the Fulton office for several years.

Elizabeth W. Bozeman, MD, completed her undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta. She went on to the Medical University of South Carolina, where she attended medical school, as well fulfilled as her internship and residency. During her residency, she was chief urology resident.

She has the distinction of being the first female to complete the urology medical school program and was the first female to practice urology in South Carolina.

Gary Bozeman, MD, earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he also attended medical school. His general surgery internship was completed at the University of Tennessee, while his urology residency was fulfilled at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was chief resident.

The Ask The Doctor Forum is a free presentation sponsored by the Oswego Health Community Development Office. The Ask The Doctor Forum is designed to create an open dialogue between health care providers/professionals and interested members of the greater Oswego County community.
