Oswego Health Auxiliary Presents Annual Scholarships

Members of the Oswego Health Auxiliary have announced the recipients of their annual scholarships, open to Oswego Health employees who are advancing their healthcare careers.

Among the four individuals presented a scholarship seated from left, Christine Smith, RN, who provides care on Oswego Hospitals medical/surgical floors. She is pursuing her bachelors of nursing science (BSN) at the Chamberlain College of Nursing; Theresa Fitzgibbons, RN, is also earning her BSN at the American Sentinel College. Fitzgibbons a 12-year Oswego Health employee, is a clinical documentation specialist; Shannon Strong, RN, has worked in the Oswego Hospital Emergency Department for the past three years and is studying for her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica; and Amber Shumway, is earning her BSN at Southern New Hampshire University. She has worked at the Fulton Urgent Care Center for the past three years.
