It is your generosity that directly impacts and makes a difference in the lives of our patients and residents, every single day.
Here are just a few things you made possible at Oswego Health in 2017:
- Milestone event raised more than $165,000 for healthcare initiatives: Celebrated the 30th Annual Oswego Health Golf Tournament with proceeds supporting healthcare needs of the community.
- Growth of services and programs: Collaboration with Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists to bring outstanding orthopedic care closer to home continues to expand. In June, the Center for Wound Healing in partnership with Healogics opened, which provides wound care treatment for those suffering from chronic or non-healing wounds. Then in November, the Center for Weight Loss and Surgery opened, which leads individuals step-by-step to a healthier lifestyle.
- The Manor at Seneca Hill awarded four stars: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) awarded four stars to The Manor at Seneca Hill for the quality of care residents receive while at the facility.
- Complimentary valet parking at Oswego Hospital: In December, Oswego Hospital began offering patients free valet parking on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Patients no longer have to worry about parking.
We are looking forward to another exciting and successful year here at Oswego Health – renovations of hospital patient rooms, renewal of our Behavioral Health Services in the former Price Chopper building and hosting our first Gala event!
