Lifetime Donor Recognition

1881 Legacy Society

The 1881 Legacy Society will be reserved for those individuals who have notified us that they have included Oswego Health as a beneficiary in their estate planning; who, during their lifetime executed a planned gift for Oswego Health; or who in passing leave a gift to Oswego Health not previously identified. All current members of the Fred Barnes Society and any other legacy donors will be immediately recognized as part of the new 1881 Legacy Society and all benefits accruing to Society members will apply.

The Founders

The Founders is reserved for individuals, businesses (excluding event sponsorships) and foundations that have made a commitment to support Oswego Health at a level of a minimum of $10,000. This can be through a single gift of $10,000 or more, a fulfilled a pledge of $10,000 or more; or whose cumulative lifetime gifts total $10,000 or more. Members of The Founders are Oswego Health’s strongest, most loyal supporters and will be looked to as leaders in the healthcare community.

Annual Donor Recognition

Major Gifts

Gifts of $5,000 or more made to Oswego Health in a calendar year will be considered major gifts in the year they are given/pledged. These gifts may be an Annual Fund gift or a gift designated to a specific campaign. These gifts do not include special events. For recognition purposes Annual Fund or undesignated gifts will give the donor membership to the Circle of Life and they will receive the recognition benefits accruing to the level of the gift. Gifts designated to a specific campaign will have the recognition benefits accruing to that campaign, if applicable, and will also be recognized as Circle of Life gifts in the year they are made. Circle of Life membership runs from January through December of each year.

Partners Gifts

These are leadership gifts made to Oswego Health in the amount of $1,000 to $4,999 in a given year. These gifts may be an Annual Fund gift or a gift designated to a specific campaign or project. These do not include special events.   For recognition purposes Annual Fund or undesignated gifts will give the donor membership in the Partners Club at the appropriate giving level. Gifts designated to a specific campaign will have the recognition benefits accruing to that campaign, if applicable, and will also receive the recognition accruing to Partners Club in the year the gift is made. Partners Club membership runs from January through December.

Recognition Levels:

Partner Gold           $2,500 - $4,999    

Partner                     $1,000 - $2,499   

Century Club

These gifts, mostly, but not limited to Annual Fund gifts, are the foundation of a successful future for Oswego Health. These gifts would also include memorials/honorariums, giving tree gifts, walkway gifts, and special project gifts but do not include special events. These donors are the stepping stones to higher level annual gifts as well as special, major and planned gifts. For recognition purposes Annual Fund or undesignated gifts will give the donor membership in the Century Club at the appropriate giving level. Gifts designated to a specific campaign will have the recognition benefits accruing to that campaign, if applicable, and will also receive the recognition accruing to Century Club in the year the gift is made. Century Club membership runs from January through December.

Gold Member                     $500 - $999            

Silver Member                   $250 - $499            

Bronze Member                $100 - $249
