Oswego Hospital’s Lifeline service allows many of Oswego County’s senior citizens and others to remain living in their own homes.
Knowing that help is just a button push away, Philips Lifeline has enabled millions of people to live with greater independence and peace of mind. Lifeline also offers assurance to family caregivers that often have to balance the needs of their loved ones with the demands of their own busy lives.
Lifeline’s personal emergency response system is easy to use. When help is needed, the subscriber simply pushes the waterproof personal help button that’s worn as a wristband or pendant. Within seconds a Lifeline representative is able to respond with the appropriate help. This might be a neighbor, family member, police/fire dept. or an ambulance depending on the help that is needed.
Our most advanced technology, Lifeline with AutoAlert, provides an added layer of protection by automatically placing a call for help if it detects a fall and you can't push your button. AutoAlert is designed to get you fast access to help even if you are disoriented, immobilized, or unconscious.
