Oswego Health is a regional health care system committed to providing the highest quality, comprehensive and compassionate health care to the residents of Oswego County.
The system includes Oswego Hospital, a 164-bed community acute care hospital; The Manor, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility; and Springside at Seneca Hill, a retirement community for active seniors. Oswego Health also has an urgent care center in Fulton and primary care centers in Mexico, Parish and Phoneix.
Oswego Health’s physicians have some of the latest technology at their fingertips enabling them to provide exceptional care.
Health System Highlights:
In our quest to provide the best in both care and technology, we have just completed a major construction project at Oswego Hospital that included the complete renovation of key departments. Our Emergency Room was rebuilt and features 17 patient rooms with most being private with their own televisions. The ER has a central cardiac monitoring system as well as two critical care rooms with cutting-edge equipment situated on surgical booms hung from the ceiling, offering more efficient space for our physicians and staff in which to work.
Adjacent to the new ER is our new medical imaging department, which has the area’s most advanced digital radiology room for taking general medical images. This new equipment gives our radiologists the ability to view soft-tissue images with the bones removed, and images that highlight foreign objects and calcified abnormalities. This department also provides a 64-slice Computerized Tomography (CT) scanner and a high field open Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine.
The hospital project also provided a new laboratory and an intermediate care unit as well as an attractive and welcoming main lobby.
Our hospital also features a recently built seven-suite surgery center with the latest technology, a comfortable maternity center offering an at-home feel where families can welcome their newborn and a state-of-the-art intensive care unit, with eight private rooms.
In addition to these services, we have a pediatrics department and, two medical surgical floors.
