Oswego MOMS club donated to Maternity Center
Members of the Oswego chapter of the MOMS Club, or Moms Offering Moms Support recently visited Oswego Hospital’s maternity center to donate two baskets of various items for women in labor. The items included lip balm, toothbrushes and hair ties, along with other personal things that a laboring mother might need.
In the photo from the left are Secretary Randi Taylor, with her daughter, Emily; President Ketrina Scaglione, holding son, Evan; Eileen Henrie, a senior registered nurse at the maternity center; Vice-President Kathy Campbell, RN, who works in the maternity center and is holding her daughter, Megan; and Kim Hyde, RN, clinical manager of the maternity center.
In the Maternity Center, outstanding care is assured with board certified physicians available 24 hours per day. To extend the best care to newborns, a neonatal nurse practitioner is on staff.
Along with these medical professionals, a full complement of midwives, nurse practitioners and nursing staff are there to help patients and family members through this wonderful experience.
