Good nutrition is an important part of your health and recovery. The Oswego Hospital’s Nutritional Services Department strives to serve a variety of appetizing and nutritious meals.
On your breakfast tray each morning will be an individualized menu for the following day that offers foods based on our health requirements. Please select items that are appetizing to you, and clearly mark them. A nutritional services representative will collect your menu by 11:30 a.m. You should be aware that your selections may be altered in order to meet any restrictions indicated by your physician.
If you have questions or concerns about your diet, or the menu selections, please ask your nurse to call the food and nutrition services department and a representative will visit with you.
If your physician decides that you need to be placed on a special diet when you leave the hospital, an out-patient diet consultation is available. Diet consultations can be made with our registered dietician.
