The most modern fixed 1.5 tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner was recently installed at Oswego Hospital. This cutting-edge technology depicts and clarifies diseases of the brain, spine, liver, pancreas, kidney, uterus and other soft-tissue organs. It is also often invaluable for many orthopedic diagnoses such as knee meniscal tear or shoulder rotator cuff injury.
The medical imaging department also offers computed tomography (CT) imaging at several locations, including Oswego Hospital and the Central Square and Fulton Medical Centers.
Other imaging services include general X-rays, interventional radiology nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, vascular ultrasound and echocardiography.

All medical imaging services are accredited by the American College of Radiology.
In the recently renovated 7-suite surgery center, our 24/7 anesthesia and nursing coverage offers surgeons the ability to operate around the clock performing planned, urgent and emergent cases.
Located on floors 3 and 4 of the hospital, these units provide inpatient and cohorted observation care to admitted patients. A team of dedicated hospitalists focuses on a team-oriented, multidisciplinary approach that ensures optimal care and continuous communication with their medical staff colleagues.
Highly skilled and dedicated nursing staff deliver care by recognizing the importance of best practice protocol and accountability during care delivery.
