Care from birth to maturity

About Us ----

The Oswego Health system offers a continuum of care from birth to maturity. The healthcare organization was founded more than 130 years ago, when a group of community minded residents gathered for the specific purpose of starting a hospital. A look back to the initial board minutes reveals that the founders had concerns not unlike those in healthcare today. They wanted to provide care to all residents, regardless of income and other factors. They desired a location that people could get to easily and, of course, wanted their facility to have the best physicians and medical staff.

Since that meeting in 1881, Oswego Hospital has continued to expand to offer the best care and the latest advances in medical technologies and techniques. Part of that growth has included the hospital evolving into a healthcare system that offers options for retirement living and skilled nursing.
